EDIX

Edix, beat synced edits

Clips in, edits out.

Drop a few clips and one track. Edix finds every kick and the drop, then cuts four Brazilian funk and phonk edits that hit on the beat. It all runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

The example edit is on its way.

Made by Edix from a few clips and one track.

How it works

Three steps, one drop.

  1. 01

    Drop clips and a track

Two to forty clips and one song. More clips means faster cuts, since Edix never shows the same scene twice. Phone videos are fine. Songs with a clear kick drum and a real drop work best.

  2. 02

Edix finds the kicks and the drop

It listens for every kick, the tempo, the build up and the moment the beat drops. Then it looks for the moving parts of your clips.

  3. 03

    You get 4 edits

Hard, Smooth, Glitch and Cinematic. Each one builds up, lands the drop on a kick, then cuts on every kick with heavier effects.

Rendering happens on your device, so it takes a moment: roughly the length of the edit on a laptop, longer on older phones.

Off by default: every shot uses footage that shows up nowhere else in the edit.

A soft film grade on top of any style: gentle contrast, teal shadows, warm highlights. Applies to previews and downloads.

Drops intros, outros and end screens. Shorter clips skip a smaller part.
